Novice Competition Class: 6 Weeks $150.00 Instructor: Caitlin Puskas

This class is for novice dogs that have completed Foundation one & two and Short Course Class or their equivalent. This class is designed to help Novice dogs prepare for competition. Courses will include, all the equipment & skills the novice dog will see in competition. This class will combine jumping skills, contact equipment and weaves in slightly longer more technical sequences than our beginner Novice and Short Course class. Classes are 1 hour long for 5 or less dogs. 6 dogs with a limit of 8 dogs we will increase to 1&1/2 hour class.

This class is for those who have completed Agility Foundation (listed below) and realize they would like to continue with longer slight more challenging exercises. Emphasis will still be on having fun while continuing beyond Foundation Agility to learning to execute longer sequences.
Emphasis will still be on having fun while learning some of the more advanced fundamentals. This class can be enjoyed by Enjoy learning about agility without the worry that you or your dog will be over faced. Semester will cover teaching play drive skills, restrained recalls, target sends, sends around and through obstacles. You and your dog will also learn some of the easier crosses and some of the basic obedience skills needed to have fun putting a few obstacles together. Your dog will also be introduced to tunnels, chutes and lowered contact equipment. If you never thought you or your dog could do Agility this class just may surprise you. Dogs must have a solid stay, recall and be able to focus with other dogs working. 

Agility Foundation: 6 Weeks $150.00 Instructor, Caitlin Puskas
Friday 6:30-7:15pm Class Dates:1/5, 1/12, 1/19, 1/26, 2/2, 2/9
New Semester Starts: 2/16, 2/23, 3/2, 3/9, 3/16, 3/23
This class is for any one who has never done agilty before. Emphasis will be on having fun while learning some of the basics. This class can be enjoyed by older dogs or handlers or any one who for what ever reason was not confident enough to try agility before. Enjoy learning about agility without the worry that you or your dog will be over faced. Semester will cover teaching play drive skills, restrained recalls, target sends, sends around and through obstacles. You and your dog will also learn some of the easier crosses and some of the basic obedience skills needed to have fun putting a few obstacles together. Puppy Kindergarten: 6 Weeks $ 150.00 Instructor, Caitlin Puskas
Friday 5:30-6:30pm 1/5, 1/12, 1/19, 1/26, 2/2, 2/9

This class is open to puppies 2 to 5 months of age. 
This class is designed for socialization and to expose puppies to new things in a positive environment. Teaching play drive. Such as tugging and fetching. Also covered will be basic obedience such as, leash training, sit, down, come, stay and leave it. Food and clickers and play will be used for positive reinforcement.This class is for puppies who are at least 5 months of age or have completed Puppy Kindergarten. Socialization will continue with more focus on Obedience skills. Skills to be covered in this class: heeling, stays, sits and downs. This is a good class for Adult dogs who have never been in a class before.
 
Advanced Beginner Obedience: 6 Weeks $150.00 Instructor, Caitlin Puskas
New Semester Dates: To Be 
This class is designed to be a continuation for dogs who have completed the beginner obedience class listed above or have that amount of training and wish to continue building on those skills. This class is a good choice for anyone considering signing up for a competion class. Dogs should be at least 6 months of age. Class will begin to focus on more advanced Obedience skills: more advanced heeling patterns, longer stays, group sits & downs, stands, and recalls. 

Canine Good Citizen Class:
Dates: To be Annouced!
This class is for dogs that are preparing for CGC and/or Therapy Dog evaluations.  The curriculum will be based on the requirements for said tests.  Dogs should have a good understanding of some basic commands in a group class setting
(sit, down, come, walking loose leash) before signing up. The final week will be the CGC test included in the semester price.

Trick Training, Instructor: Friday

Trick training is a great way to expel your dog’s mental energy and to strengthen your working relationship. Tricks can be used in our every day lives and as a way to work out difficult obedience and agility tasks or teach your dog something just for fun and to entertain friends. This class will focus on teaching your dog the basics that can build to more difficult tricks. Focus will be on learning the tools you need to shape more complex behaviors. You and your dog will have fun and also work towards various trick training titles as well. Your Dog should have a good understanding of some basic commands (sit, down, stay) and be able to focus on you in a group class setting.
