Rosie Sutherland:
Congrats to Rosie and Risk for being in the finals at the AKC Nationals in Tulsa, OK last month!
Rosie is the Agility Director of Y2K9s Dog Sports Club located in Wyndmoor, PA.
Rosie has been competing in agility since 1996, starting with an Australian Shepherd and then several Border Collies. Two of Rosie's Border Collies, "Todd" and "Rhyn" earned USDAA Platinum Lifetime Achievement Awards, the highest Title offered in USDAA agility. They also earned MACH Titles from AKC.
One of Rosie's current dog's, "Risk" is trialing at the highest level in USDAA and has earned an AKC MACH. Rosie's two youngest Border Collies, FloJo and Gem have started very promising careers in both Agility venues.
Rosie trains regularly with Linda Mecklenburg and teaches classes and seminars for several New Jersey Training Clubs in addition to Y2K9s.
Both she and her students have been finalists in AKC and USDAA National Championships and one student competed on the Agility World Team. Rosie is also involved in Herding with her Border Collie, "Spec".
