Many Class Options Available

Wednesdays: 8:00am-9:30am / 5:00pm-6:30pm / 6:30pm-8:00pm

Fridays: 8:00-9:30am

Class structure will be two longer technical skills/courses. These courses may be adjusted to suit the majority of teams levels. I try and design skills that are conducive to proofing contacts, weave speed and independence, discriminations and jumping skills when possible. The courses are also designed for proofing dog training skills and more technical handling.
Teams will walk together as a group and we will discuss various handling options. Each team will run the course and then I will make suggestions to improve efficiency and speed in your canine partner. During this critique, I may have the Handler redo part of the course. Teams will then run entire course again to smooth out any parts they had difficulty with or to try a different handling option we may have discussed during the critique.
As an instructor, I focus on reminding Teams to be consistent with their body cues and verbals. I challenge them to time their connections and cues so their canine partner receives the information when needed to improve timing and build canine confidence. I remind handlers often to be generous with rewarding their canine teammate.
Once all Teams have completed the first course, we move onto a second course. These classes are popular and are managed through an email distribution list.
Email me: to be added to my agility class distribution list. I welcome walk-ins when there is a slot open.
